DeclutterThe more often you declutter, the less decluttering you’ll have to do. Every month, walk through your entire basement and sort things into ‘keep,’ ‘donate/throw out,’ or ‘unsure’ buckets. If you don’t have the room to create piles, walk around with colored stickers, and label each item. Once everything this is marked, start by cleaning out the ‘donate/throw out’ items so you’ll have room to sort out the rest.
